Damaged Products If a product arrives damaged, please contact us within seven days of receipt. Products that have been damaged may not meet the ‘consumer guarantee’ of acceptable quality (i.e., the product should be):
fit for the purpose it is supplied for
safe, durable and free from defects
acceptable in appearance and finish.
Depending on whether the damage is major or minor, you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement.
Incorrect Products If your delivery arrives and it contains the wrong product, please contact us within seven days of receipt.
Returning products for Refund Once you have contacted us and a return has been authorised, we highly recommend that products are returned by registered or certified mail through Australia Post or returned in person at our Devonport store (where practical) including a copy of the original order confirmation with the returned product.
Costs of Returning Products We are not responsible for any initial costs associated with returning damaged products. You will need to arrange the return of the product and cover any costs associated with their return.
However, upon receipt of the returned item, we will verify the damaged/incorrectly sent product, arrange shipment of the correct/replacement product, and then reimburse you for the reasonable cost of returning the product upon provision of proof of costs prior to any reimbursements taking place.
Unopened Product We offer a seven-day return policy for product in original, unopened and undamaged condition. If a product is not returned within seven days of you receiving it, or we have not been contacted within the above time frame, we may not accept the return.
Refunds Where a refund is necessary, these will generally use the same method as the original purchase (such as debit/credit card etc.). Where another payment type has been used, please contact us for further information.
Credit notes While we do not currently offer credit notes for use against future purchases, we can provide a unique discount code up to the value of the refund to use on the website.
Part work (Magazine) back orders Due to the returns policy of our national magazine supplier, magazine issues that are older than 50 days from the date of the order cannot be refunded once stock for your order has arrived in store from our suppliers.
