Shipping policy

Postage rates
We use Australia Post. All orders are packed in padded envelopes or sturdy cardboard boxes to ensure your purchases arrive in tip-top condition. We aim to ship all orders within two business days (public holidays excepted). International shipping is calculated by weight and travel method.

Using 'Add to Existing Order' rate
This rate is designed for customers who have an order in our system already, or have organised for an additional order (with original postage rate) to be placed at a later date. Orders without an existing order in our system will be placed on hold until an additional order is placed. Where no such order is placed within seven days, the order will be cancelled and refunded, minus a 5% administration fee.

Ordering items not currently in stock
For all backorders and pre-orders, once we receive your order, we place this with our supplier. Payment for these items are processed the same as any other order.

Suppliers dispatch these items to us as soon as possible, but please note that may take some additional time to arrive. If for any reason that item ceases to be available, we will let you know, and you can choose an alternative item or items to the same value, or we can provide you with a full refund.

Click and Collect
For in-stock items - Subject to opening times, we aim to have 'Click and Collect' items ready for collection within 2 hours. We'll call/email you as soon as it's ready.

    For items that are order only, we'll call/email you as soon as your item has arrived. We do not package items for collection.

    Delivery Times - Australia
    Generally, Parcel Post should take between 2-6 days. Note that some locations may take a little longer if the address is off the beaten track! For more info, check out Australia Post’s Delivery Speeds and Coverage page. Please note that COVID-19 is impacting delivery times.

    Delivery Times - International
    Please check with us at enquiries@waterfrontnews.com.au prior to ordering for an estimate of delivery times. Postage rates are determined by Australia Post. We do not send any items classified as Dangerous Goods internationally.

    Delivery Address Changes
    Once a parcel has left us on its journey to you, we are unable to alter its destination.

    Parcel Tracking
    All orders fulfilled by us in store have electronic tracking as standard. We will email you this information once your parcel(s) leave our Devonport store. Orders coming direct from the manufacturer or supplier may have this as an option (we will let you know).

    Exceeding Maximum Order Quantity
    Order maximums are defined to allow as many customers as possible to enjoy limited releases products. Where these are exceeded, we will process a refund for excess product and deduct order amendment fees from any excess postage.
