Stump Jump PloughRichard Smith · 1876Patented by South Australian Richard Smith, it helped farmers plough their land more efficiently.
Black Box Flight RecorderDr David Warren · 1953Records cockpit voices and flight data to help investigators. Despite the name, it's usually a bright colour so it's easier to find!
Jaffle MakerDr Ernest Smithers · 1949First made to toast bread and melt the filling over a fire, it was reimagined by Breville in 1974 as the electric Snack 'n' Sandwich Toaster.
