Issue 3 - 1978 Ford XC Falcon Cobra. Belonging to a definitive collection of 1:43 scale miniatures, this release pays tribute to the engineering and design excellence of the Australian automotive industry. A stroke of marketing genius by Edsel Ford II to clear remaining hardtop shells, these cars were recognisable by their bold white and blue livery. They paid tribute to the 1-2 finish at the 1977 Bathurst 1000.
Collectors prize the Cobra for its rarity and direct link to one of the most famous moments in Australian motorsport. It remains a symbol of the end of the great Aussie coupes.
