Combat Patrol: Emperor's Children packs seventeen plastic miniatures into a complete, ready-to-play force, making it a solid entry point for a new Warhammer 40,000 army or a quick addition to an existing one. The models represent the Callous Blades, a warband led by the vain but lethally skilled Lord Kaphrael, whose duels against chosen victims spur his six Flawless Blades and ten Infractors into ever more theatrical violence. The Infractors can alternatively be built as bolter-armed Tormentors, and the Lord Exultant has a genuine spread of weapon loadouts to choose from, so there is room to convert the squad to your own taste. Buying the box also costs less than picking up each kit on its own.
