Gloss black over an all-metal barrel, topped with a brushed chrome cap and finished in chrome trim. The contrast between the polished body and the satin cap is the whole design, and it is a good deal more considered than most pens at this money.
Sentinel has been a Sheaffer model name since the 1940s, when it marked out the White Dot pens fitted with a steel cap. The modern version is slim, light in the pocket and click-top operated, taking the widely available Sheaffer K-style ballpoint refill.
A neat everyday pen, and smart enough to hand to a customer across a counter.
