Issue 57 – 2006 Holden Commodore VZ SVZ/SSZ.
This model is a key piece in a high-quality series of 1:43 scale Australian cars. The VZ arrived in August 2004 as the last of the third-generation Commodores, and Holden sent it off with a pair of sharp special editions: the SSZ of late 2005, limited to just 930 cars with 18-inch Monaro-style wheels, SSZ-badged leather and the 250 kW 5.7-litre Gen III V8, and the SVZ of March 2006, which dressed the Executive sedan and wagon in sports trim before the all-new VE took over.
For the collector, this piece captures the silver body, rear wing and five-spoke alloys of the final VZ hero, and arrives with a magazine drawn from the Wheels archive.
