Description
The pinnacle of Commonwealth walker design, the Merlin pairs formidable firepower with Guinevere — an onboard automated 'brain' that monitors and manages the walker's complex systems. While the human crew handles piloting and tactics, Guinevere reroutes power, extinguishes fires, activates backup systems, and can even pilot the walker briefly if the crew are incapacitated.
This resin and metal kit builds one Merlin, armed with a 3" anti-tank gun, twin .50cal heavy machine guns, and a hull-mounted medium machine gun. A striking and characterful centrepiece for any Commonwealth force.
On the tabletop, the Merlin is a durable heavy walker that punishes mistakes — Guinevere's self-repair systems allow it to absorb punishment that would cripple lesser machines. Excellent armament coverage makes it effective against both infantry and armour.
