A deep, slightly forest-leaning green barrel under a brushed chrome cap and chrome trim. Green is not a colour most pen makers bother with at this end of the range, which is exactly what makes this one worth picking up - it stands out on a desk without being loud about it.
The Sentinel is a slim, straightforward click-top ballpoint, taking Sheaffer's K-style refill in black or blue. The name goes back to the 1940s, when Sheaffer used it for the White Dot pens fitted with a stainless steel cap.
An easy pen to own and an easier one to replace the ink in.
